Getting Started with Your Hosting Account Print

  • 0

Setting up your hosting account is the first step towards launching your website with Think Innovate & Deliver. After purchasing your hosting package, you will receive a welcome email containing your login credentials and a link to access cPanel, your control panel for managing hosting services. Once logged in, familiarize yourself with the cPanel interface, where you can manage your files, databases, email accounts, and more. Begin by setting up your domain by either registering a new domain or pointing an existing one to your hosting account. Update the nameservers to match those provided in your welcome email to link your domain to our hosting service.

After configuring your domain, you can start creating email accounts, setting up FTP access for file uploads, and establishing a MySQL database if needed. For users new to web hosting, the cPanel interface may seem overwhelming at first, but it’s designed to be user-friendly and intuitive. You can explore various sections to get a feel for where different features are located, such as the File Manager for uploading website files, the Email section for creating and managing domain-based emails, and the Security section for adding SSL certificates and setting up other protection measures. If you have any questions or need further assistance, our support team is always available to guide you through the process.
